Frequently Asked Questions

 How do I register for training.?​

Training is open to every from beginner to advanced.  To inquire about public training sessions consult our Training Calendar to view all upcomping courses or call us at 403-571-7650 and we can help you find a course that will meet your needs.   For custom or private courses contact our Training Advisors at info@softectraining.com

 

 What are the start and end times for public courses?

All public trainings run from 9 am – 5 pm with a break for lunch and two 15 minute breaks throughout the day.

 

 Do you offer private/on-site training sessions?

​We do offer both private and on-site training. Sessions can be help at either our location or yours.  The client will need to supply the training facility and if the client have the necessary equipment to conduct a training (i.e. computers, high-speed internet connectivity, projection screen, etc.).   We do have a small 6 Station Mobile Labtop Lab.  A private training on the customer site must have a minimum of 6 participants in thier lab.

 Do I pay before or after training and what payment options do I have?

​Payment must accompany the registration form and be processed before training takes place. We accept: Visa, MasterCard, Debit, Cash & E-Transfer.

If your company has pre-established payment terms with Softec, you may submit a copy of your PO with your registration form.

 

 What if I need to cancel or transfer my training or make a change to a participant?

Cancellation or transfer up to 5 business days prior to the beginning of the course will entitle the participant to a 100% refund. Any rescheduling or cancellation 5 days or less than  will be subject to an administration fee of $50.00. Substitutions of participants are accepted without any additional charges.  Cancellations and transfers must be confirmed by e-mail.   Please see all Registration Policies.

Is there a deadline to submit my registration form?


There is no deadline to submit registrations for a public training sessions, although classes fill up quickly and space is limited.  

 

Will I receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the course?


Students who complete an instructor-led course will receive a Certificate of Completion for each course and each level they have participated in.
